Glad that you're geting back in the swing of things!

A very strange photo. . .

Affiction (not Affliction) was publicly discontinued by Paula, who wanted to consolidate all her blogging efforts in just one blog, Paula's House of Toast - still some of the best writing in the blogosphere: http://paulashouseoftoast.blogspot.com/ .
This was maybe a month and a half ago. She reported that within hours of her discontinuing Affiction, someone else snapped up the address, much to her chagrin. That's what you're seeing now.

I misread it.

I did *not* know it was Paula, though that is a blog I often read.

Thank you very much -- now I know where to go.

Hmmm, you've got me thinking about my next computer. I would love the portability of a (wi-fi) laptop, but I worry about ergonomics. I've had some tendon problems from typing wrong and don't want to go through that again. Do you feel any long-term ill effects from having to look down at the screen and typing on a narrow keyboard? How's the mousing? They say it's less tiring to use arm muscles than hand/finger muscles for things like mousing. What's been your experience?

hey, artichoke heart is back!

best news all day.

Sylvia, I love the iBook keyboard, but I think that is a personal thing, having to do with hand size & shape and individual preference. For me, since I am usually sitting up on a bed or chaise, looking down at the screen is actually quite comfortable -- though I do try to limit my time. And the portability is life-enhancing for me.

Erin, I saw that!! Yay! -- and it's past time for me to update my sidebar.
