Friday [New Kitten] Cat Blogging

A shelter kitten, in her new home. She was a birthday present from a friend. Her birthday, my kitten. 

Yeah, I don't get it either. But I get the kitten!

We've had kitten tail-chasing frenzy under the sofa; kitten falling off the bookshelf with baskets; kitten chasing feather-on-a-stick; kitten ignoring dogs; kitten learning that's not your dinner!

She needs a name. I'm thinking, maybe: Belle?

This is one fearless, curious kitten. About three months old, and the folks at the shelter were a bit worried that she might not get along with dogs.

No problem. For the kitten, anyway.

Boo was in the closet, hiding from the vacuum, when we came home. Then she came downstairs. Then she saw the kitten. Then she went back to the staircase and threw up.

Twice.

But then, Boo is easily offended.

She'll settle.

I hope.
