She pummelled me awake this morning. Many heavy, four-footed landings, in some random pattern, all over my slumbering self. Then -- a final warning -- one last front-paw slam, on my face. Claws in (consideration for the holidays of peace, no doubt.)
No Friday Ark this week. But you can check out:
- Carnival of the Cats every Sunday
In sadder cat-web news, we have this: BKCFoC #122: So Long, Farewell, Auf Wiedersmeow, and Purrs, Plus Thoughts on the Future - Meowsings of an Opinionated Pussycat:

Watermark is one of those blogs that faded in the past year, and returned to find many things changed. Friday Cat Blogging is one of the first traditions I participated in when this blog began. It's the tradition that brought Watermark mention in the New York Times. It brought me to many blogs I would not otherwise have found. It's silly, it's fun, and it made a community out of folks who often had little else in common. I hope that it continues.
It's the turn of the year; change is coming, change is here. The light changes. Our lives change.
Let us welcome it.
