This day blooms
under wide meadows
of sky. We lay
our sun-stunned bodies
in constellations
of clover and buttercups.Salmonberry bubbles
of sweet red light
break on our tongues.
Shooting stars
in the flowerbeds,
pollen in our sheets.

I couldn't get the voice thing to work, but it's probably just me ....

I think you must have flash enabled to hear the audio.

I was in Sitka for the 2005 solstice. Your poem brings back the whole sensual experience...aromas, sounds, wind,...the pace of being able to soak the entire experience inward.
