In the park this morning:
I watch a dipper harvest the riverbank, until it sees me and skitters off.A park worker cuts sod to enlarge the volleyball court.
Five geese seem to argue about which direction to go -- two want to go west; three want to go north. After a time, west wins.
Crows, magpies, ducks. Bees and grasshoppers. Crabapple trees catching fire.
Much pain and fatigue this past few days. It is hard to see the world around me.

I think that the birds should all get together and jump around on the volleyball court and play a game of volleyball. While they are playing their game . Some kids will then walk by and decide that they don't like the birds and will try to feed them alka-seltzer to make them explode, but then super-bird comes along and saves the other birds by landing on the kids heads and biting their ears and eyes. The kids will then tell their parents and their parents will call the cops and the cops will call animal control and animal control will catch one of the birds and test it for diseases. When they find the volleyball birds have some diseases, the kids will have to get shots but then they'll feel fine.
