Hmmm. This seems to be a seasonal thing; everywhere I go, there's another one. Here is one that makes me very happy:
Blaugustine came first in the best designed and most beautiful blog category of the Edublog Weblog Awards. This blog has been a favorite of mine for some time -- beautiful, obviously, and also fun, thoughtful, and inspiring.
Several of my other reads are also on this awards list, notably Pharyngula and mamamusings -- and lots of new ones to explore. And another favorite wins: ampersand's Hereville was included on The WebComics Examiner's list of The Best Webcomics of 2004.
Then there are the Diarist Awards; the Deutsche Welle International Blog Awards 2004 (winners here); the Webby Awards (entries open till tomorrow); and Wampum's 2004 Koufax Awards, "intended to honor the best of the left of blogtopia" (nominations now open). Winners of the Wizbang 2004 Weblog Awards have been announced, and Best of Blogs Awards is still accepting nominations. I gather that the Bloggies are very coveted -- this one starts in January.
Somewhat related, Martin (last name unknown) is doing a Blog Ethics Analysis and requests input from bloggers; Rox Populi points to a study indicating that Most Bloggers are Women; and B.L. Ochman questions the study results.

Have a good -- what day is it again? -- oh, yes -- Have a good Thursday.
