Karen suggested that we use Friday Cat Blogging this weekend to remember our lost companions; an excellent idea, that I had planned to use. But, the computer problems just make it too difficult -- so instead, this favorite photo of Henry and Spike, already on Flickr, that makes me think: comfort.
And comfort is what I have been experiencing, from your contributions, and even more from your comments. I thank you all.
This is a long weekend in the States, so I will not have more updates until Tuesday, most likely. In the meantime, I shall enjoy the sun, the garden, and:

Looking at this blog it made me think about my two little cats that love to play together and spend time loving on one another. When I look at them doing that I take a moment to try and be as present as possible and then recognize that life will change and a time will come when they will no longer play like that. In that moment I feel incredibly appreciative and a sense of something transcendent washes over me. This I consider to be a sacred moment, a precious moment in life. I am conducting a study on cultivating these precise moments. Should you want to participate in this brief study, please go to http://sacredmomentstudy.blogspot.com. Thank you. Elisha Goldstein.
