Redesign in progress...
Later: That navigation bar up there is not working -- I've submitted a Help Ticket. I don't want to give up on it just yet. Fixed!
So -- what do you think?

It looks professional! Clean and bright. I might have a tendency to remove some of the shells and bring your Etsy photos up under Twitter or maybe above it... Good for you!

Did an excellent job. However with the banner, you might want to outline your letter with a thin line of black.

Tumblewords: Thanks -- I was actually concerned that it might be a bit dark. Hmmm, second suggestion to bring up the Etsy Mini; I'm going to have to get used to the idea that I'm trying to sell something...
Cathy: I'm glad you like it! And I have no idea how to do what you suggest -- but it's a good idea.

What did you use to create the banner? if it was Photoshop. Just send me the background image and what font you use. I'll see what I can do. I'm in a mood for a challenge.

It would be a challenge, alright. Started in Adobe Elements 3; then did a bit in Picasa; back to Elements; then did the fonts in Picnik (and those fonts are available only there, I believe, w/a pro account.)
So, probably not possible.
But just out of curiosity, how would you do it -- what would you use? -- if it were possible?

Actually I look in my Photoshop book and there is a way to outline the text. By using the stroke command under the blending option in the layer section.
Just right click on the text layer and you should see the blending option. I already played around with it. Could have some fun with that.
Granted I might not have your font but I might have something better in my scrapbboking stuff too. yea that type of font might work. Give it a little texture too
:)

OK, Cathy -- I tweaked the banner a bit more. I've totally lost track of how I got it to this point -- what do you think?
Posted by: sbpoet | 16 May 2009 at 02:07 PM
A lot better, The lettering is a little more clearer.

I think it's gorgeous.
